MMX

Local Kubernetes

Run the published Helm release in a three-worker kind cluster. Install Docker, kind, Helm, kubectl, and the native CLI from Local Docker.

Create the cluster

export MMX_VERSION=0.1.0-rc.1
curl -fsSLO "https://github.com/awesomepandapig/mmx/releases/download/v$MMX_VERSION/quickstart.yaml"
kind create cluster --name mmx --config quickstart.yaml
helm upgrade --install mmx oci://ghcr.io/awesomepandapig/mmx/charts/mmx \
  --version "$MMX_VERSION" --namespace mmx --create-namespace \
  --set console.service.type=NodePort --set console.service.nodePort=30093 \
  --set gateway.service.type=NodePort --set gateway.service.nodePort=30080 \
  --set websocket.service.type=NodePort --set websocket.service.nodePort=30081 \
  --set networkPolicy.enabled=false --wait --timeout 10m
helm test mmx --namespace mmx --logs

The kind profile maps console 8093, REST 8000, and WebSocket 8080 onto the Docker host's loopback interface. NetworkPolicy is disabled for this local test network.

Connect

Use the Helm instructions to read your admin token, then set the local addresses:

export MMX_URL=http://127.0.0.1:8093
export MMX_GATEWAY_URLS=http://127.0.0.1:8000
mmx health
mmx status

Read the console password with the installation log command, then follow Getting started.
